What is YANKEE AIR PIRATE?
Yankee Air Pirate is the visual interactive story of the Air War in Southeast Asia.
Our episodes are real combat missions told to us by the men who flew them.
We use Wings Over Vietnam as the engine for our story-telling. Using another game as an engine requires some compromises but it is, by far, the best engine for telling stories of war in the air.
While violent, we do not glorify war or make fun of death. They are reenactments of moments in the lives of young men long ago...men who are no longer young.
There will never be another air war like this. Yankee Air Pirate puts you in the their place in their time. The outcome is up to you, your skill and your luck...just like it was for them.
All you have to do is complete 100 missions and you get to go home.
